In May 2026, the assembly hall of the Faculty of Journalism at the Tajik National University hosted a meeting with representatives from the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by the university’s faculty leadership, lecturers, and students.

During the meeting, the Agency officials briefed the participants on the national legislation and state anti-corruption programs, methods for identifying and preventing corruption risks, and the importance of raising public awareness to combat this negative phenomenon, among other pressing issues.

It was further emphasized that eradicating corruption risks is only possible through collective efforts and fruitful cooperation between state authorities and civil society. The fight against corruption is a shared responsibility of all government bodies and every patriotic citizen.
