To enhance the anti-corruption awareness of the population, employees of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in Sughd Region held discussions and meetings with residents of the Patar and Kukhondiyor rural communities of Konibodom City.

During the events, Agency representatives emphasized that combating corruption is a collective responsibility, and every citizen of the country should contribute to reducing its prevalence. Participants were urged to actively support compliance with the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the Law “On the Regulation of Celebrations and Ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan,” the Law “On Responsibility for the Upbringing of Children,” and the Law “On the Patriotic Education of Citizens.”

Furthermore, during the meetings, participants were informed about the essence of amendments and additions to the country’s legislation regarding the illegal use of electricity, the threats and dangers of terrorism, extremism, and other crimes. They were encouraged to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, respect for national values, and intolerance toward manifestations of extremism and terrorism.
