As part of the Action Plan of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, aimed at enhancing citizens' legal awareness, a meeting was held on June 18, 2025, in the assembly hall of the Roshtkala District jamoat with residents of the villages of Anjin, Dirjid, Savir, and Pastares, dedicated to combating corruption.

The event was attended by a representative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption in the region, the jamoat chairman, and village activists. During the meeting, the key points of the Address by the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, dated December 28, 2024, were discussed. The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Combating Corruption," the National Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030, and the action plan for its implementation in the first phase (2021–2025) were explained. Additionally, the risks of youth involvement in extremist and terrorist groups, illegal religious education, illegal trade and trafficking of narcotic substances, efficient use of electricity and timely payment for it, amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan in this area, as well as compliance with the requirements of the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Responsibility for the Upbringing and Education of Children" and "On Regulation of Celebrations and Ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan" were addressed. Extensive explanatory work was conducted, during which responsible persons were given specific recommendations and instructions to prevent corrupt practices in relevant areas.

The meeting was held at a high level, and it can be confidently stated that its outcomes will positively contribute to fostering an uncompromising stance against corruption in society and enhancing the legal literacy of participants.
