On April current year, at the initiative of the department of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a series of meetings was held in the cities and districts of the Kulob region with employees of various sectors, including land relations, judiciary, education, healthcare, as well as with the executive bodies of state power of the districts of Sh. Shohin, Muminobod, Farkhor, M.S.A. Hamadoni, Vose, and Temurmalik on issues of combating corruption.

During the events, responsible officials of the agencies delivered reports on the current anti-corruption legislation and other normative legal acts, and also explained to the participants the ways to prevent corruption.

It should be noted that the purpose of holding such events is, first and foremost, to draw public attention to the issues of combating corruption, to raise the legal awareness of citizens, to prevent any offences, and to ensure the implementation of laws and state anti-corruption programmes.
