In January of the current year, at the initiative of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan for the City of Dushanbe, a round table was organized and held in the conference hall of the State Educational Institution “Professional Technical Lyceum of Railway Transport of the City of Dushanbe” on the topic: “Strengthening Legal and Institutional Mechanisms for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan in the Conditions of Development of Modern State Governance”. The event was attended by the management and responsible persons of the institution, representatives of the Committee on Primary Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the State University of Finance and Economics of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was opened by the head of the institution, who expressed views on the issue under discussion. During the subsequent part of the event, employees of the Agency delivered reports on combating corruption in the system of primary and secondary vocational education, addressing existing problems and outlining measures to prevent this undesirable phenomenon.
