On May 20, 2025, a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the self-assessment of the second round of the review of the implementation of chapters 2 and 5 of the UN Convention against Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the building of the central office of the State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Tajikistan. In addition to employees of the authorities, officials from other ministries and departments of the country also participated in the meeting.

During the event, members of the interdepartmental working group were provided with information on the UN Convention against Corruption and its self-assessment periods by the Convention officials, and in order to conduct a self-assessment of the Republic of Tajikistan, the relevant articles of the Convention were distributed to the members of the working group according to the developed table for the preparation of specific answers.

It should be noted that the purpose of establishing this working group is to conduct a second round of self-assessment of the implementation of Chapters 2 and 5 of the UN Convention against Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan, and its implementation will provide a favorable basis for improving the country's position in international rankings.
