On December 5, 2025, on the initiative of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan for the city of Dushanbe and the Health Department of the Executive Body of State Authority of the city of Dushanbe, a scientific-practical conference titled “Strengthening Anti-Corruption Efforts in the Healthcare Sector” was held with the participation of heads of medical institutions and invited guests.

The event was opened by the Head of the Dushanbe City Health Department, who in his speech highlighted the negative and dangerous consequences of this phenomenon for the country’s economic security and expressed his views on various areas of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the conference, participants delivered reports on the following topics “The Fight Against Corruption is a Collective Effort”, “Corruption as an Obstacle to Societal Development”, “Anti-Corruption Measures as a Factor of Progress in Healthcare and Social Protection of the Population”, “Prevention of Corruption as a Guarantee of Stability and Prosperity”. The presentations were followed by a fruitful exchange of opinions.

Overall, the conference took place in a scientific and discussion-oriented atmosphere. It can be confidently stated that its outcomes will have a positive impact on fostering public intolerance toward corruption and raising the level of legal culture among citizens.
