On November 19, 2025, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a productive meeting was held in the conference hall of the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by the Committee's leadership, heads of departments and divisions, as well as its employees. The topic of the meeting was: "Countering Corruption in the Tax Sector: Problems and Measures to Prevent This Undesirable Phenomenon."

During the event, representatives of the Agency delivered reports in which they explained the ways to combat corruption, measures to prevent corrupt practices among industry employees, the consequences of bribery, and the negative impacts of this phenomenon on the tax sector. Participants were also provided with detailed information on legislative requirements and state anti-corruption programs.

Overall, the aforementioned event took place in an atmosphere of anti-corruption sentiment, and it can confidently be said that its outcomes will have a positive impact on fostering an intolerant attitude toward corruption in the tax sector and enhancing the legal literacy of the participants.
