In April 2026, at the initiative of the territorial and regional departments and divisions of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, meetings aimed at raising anti-corruption awareness among public officials and citizens were organized and held in the cities of Dushanbe and Hisar, the events were attended by a wide range of education sector employees, public activists, and residents of the cities.

During the meetings, Agency officials provided participants with detailed information on the current anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan and the state programs of the country, including the “State strategy for combating corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030”, the issue of combating and prevention corruption in the education sector and the role of teachers in reducing the level of this negative phenomenon was also discussed.

Overall, the events were held in the spirit of anti-corruption efforts, and it can be confidently stated that their results will have a positive impact on fostering an intolerant attitude toward corruption and enhancing the legal literacy of the population.
