In February of the current year, at the initiative of the leadership of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, fruitful meetings were held in the cities and districts of the Kulob region with members of draft (conscription) commissions, employees of military commissariats, military desks of town and village jamoats, as well as responsible officials of the executive bodies of state power in the districts of Dangara, Farkhor, and Shamsiddin Shohin.

These events were organized with the aim of raising the legal awareness of the population and drawing public attention to issues of combating corruption. During the meetings, representatives of the Agency explained the provisions of the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Military Duty and Military Service”, “On Combating Corruption”, as well as the National Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030.

In this context, the participants were called upon to consistently direct the performance of their official duties toward protecting national interests, ensuring the rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens, strengthening collective efforts to reduce the level of corruption in the sphere of military service, and contributing to the progress and prosperity of our beloved Motherland.
