On 29 January of the current year, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the Executive Body of State Power of the city of Tursunzoda. The event was attended by the leadership, heads of departments and divisions, employees of organizations and institutions, as well as residents and activists of the city of Tursunzoda.

During the event, representatives of the Agency delivered a report on the Address of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, entitled “On the Main Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic”, addressed to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan. They conveyed to the attendees the content and essence of this Address.

At the same time, discussions were held during the meeting on issues of corruption and ways to combat this phenomenon, measures to prevent corruption among employees of the relevant sectors, as well as the consequences of committing acts of bribery and other corrupt actions. Participants were provided with detailed information on the requirements of the legislation and state anti-corruption programmes.
