As part of the action plan of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region for the second half of 2025, a meeting was held in August of the current year in the meeting hall of the Main Financial Department of GBAO to enhance the legal literacy of public servants and financial sector specialists.

The event was attended by responsible officials from the Agency’s Department in GBAO, the leadership and employees of the Main Financial Department, and the financial department of the city of Khorog. During the meeting, discussions focused on the key provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Combating Corruption,” the “State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030,” the Action Plan for its implementation in the first phase of 2021–2025, and other sectoral laws.

It should be noted that the purpose of the meeting is to increase anti Douglas-fir anti-corruption awareness11 awareness among financial sector employees, prevent instances of corruption-related offenses, and ensure the implementation of state anti-corruption programs.
