In June of this year, with the aim of enhancing anti-corruption awareness, strengthening national identity, and fostering patriotism among youth, a meeting was held between representatives of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan and officers and servicemen of the “Poytakht” Training Center of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the event, participants were informed about the implementation processes of the “State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030” and other state anti-corruption programs. It was emphasized that corruption is a global problem of the modern world and, as a socio-political phenomenon, has a negative impact on all aspects of public life, state governance, sustainable economic development, citizens’ well-being, and the protection of human rights and freedoms.
Additionally, within the framework of the “Strategy for Countering Extremism and Terrorism in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021–2025,” the servicemen were educated on the concept and nature of transnational crimes, their adverse consequences for peace, stability, national unity, and the foundations of statehood. Participants were called upon to actively contribute to preventing crimes and offenses alongside law enforcement agencies, with a strong sense of patriotism and gratitude for the country’s independence, and to make a worthy contribution to the prosperity of Tajikistan in response to the continuous care of the Government.
