On August 12, 2025, a meeting organized by the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the building of the Palace of Culture and General Education Institution No. 13 in Dusti District, Khatlon Region. The event brought together representatives of the Agency, activists, and residents of the district. Participants included the leadership and responsible officials of the Executive Body of State Power of Dusti District, representatives of state institutions, the executive committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, imam-khatibs, and local residents.

During the meeting, Agency representatives informed participants about the directives and instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, regarding amendments and additions to criminal and administrative legislation related to establishing liability for the illegal use of electricity. The essence of the "State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030" was also explained, along with measures to prevent corruption, preparations for the winter period, implementation of infrastructure and development projects, child education and upbringing, and other pressing issues.

It is worth noting that the primary goal of such events is to draw public attention to the fight against corruption, enhance citizens' legal awareness, prevent all forms of violations, ensure proper use of electricity, and promote the implementation of laws and state anti-corruption programs.
