On April 2, 2026, at the building of the central apparatus of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a meeting between responsible officials of the Agency and staff members of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Tajikistan, as well as national experts, in the meeting also attended leadership and responsible persons of the Open Joint-Stock Company “Center for confirmation of state services and development of digital programs” of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the issue of implementing the Anti-Corruption Programme «Strengthening Transparency and Accountability to Achieve Results», which is being carried out by the Agency in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Tajikistan, was discussed.

It was further noted that the implementation of the Programme and the introduction of modern electronic platforms within its framework will create favorable conditions for reducing the level of corruption in the country, protecting the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, engaging civil society in anticorruption efforts, enhancing transparency, and improving the Republic of Tajikistan’s standing in international rankings.

Following the results of the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly implement the activities envisaged within the framework of the Programme during the current year.
