As part of the Action Plan of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, in August of this year, a meeting of agency employees with officials and residents of Vanj District took place in the hall of the local executive authority of Vanj District.

During the event, it was noted that corruption is one of the undesirable phenomena of the modern world, negatively impacting the development of all sectors of state activity. At the same time, combating corruption is a collective effort, and the role of every individual in addressing this issue is considered significant.

Additionally, during the meeting, Agency representatives spoke about the framework of normative legal acts, in particular the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Combating Corruption,” and the State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030, providing detailed answers to participants’ questions.
