On October 28 of this year, on the initiative of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight Against Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the cities and districts of the Kulob region, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the University of Innovation and Digital Technologies of Tajikistan with the participation of the rector, professors, lecturers, and students of the university on the topic: “Countering Corruption in the Sphere of Education and Science: Problems, Prospects, and Ways to Solve Them.”

During the event, representatives of the Agency informed the participants about the essence of the “State Strategy for Countering Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period until 2030” and the Action Plan for its implementation at the first stage (2021–2025), ways to prevent corruption, the content of amendments and additions made to criminal and administrative legislation in connection with establishing liability for illegal use of electricity, as well as for performing improvement works, upbringing and education of children, and other issues of public interest.

It should be noted that the events were held in an open and discussion atmosphere, and the purpose of holding such meetings is, first of all, to draw public attention to the issues of combating corruption, to increase the legal literacy of citizens, and to prevent any offenses.
