On May 2026, the department of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) held a meeting and discussion on anti-corruption in the assembly hall of the Executive body of state power of Khorog. This initiative was conducted in accordance with the action plan aimed at enhancing the legal literacy of civil servants.

The event was attended by representatives of the Agency’s department, city leadership, staff of the city chairman’s office, and heads of various organizations and institutions in Khorog. During the meeting, participants were briefed on the key provisions of the Address of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, delivered on December 16, 2025. Additionally, the country’s anti-corruption legislation was thoroughly explained.

The meeting was held at a high professional level. It is expected that the outcomes of this session will contribute significantly to fostering a societal culture of zero tolerance toward corruption and further increasing the legal awareness of all participants.
