On May 20, 2025, at the initiative of the State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the Committee on Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the leadership and employees of the central apparatus of the Committee, the State Architectural and Construction Supervision Service, the Licensing Service for Urban Planning Activities, the Department of State Non-Administrative Expertise of Urban Planning Design Documents, the societies "Korezloiha", "Sanoatsoz", "Shahrofar" and the state unitary enterprises "Scientific and Research Institute of Construction and Architecture", "Construction Pricing Center" and "Loihakash" to analyze the legislation and state anti-corruption programs, as well as on the amendments and additions made to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan related to the illegal use of electricity.

At the event, officials of the authorities explained to officials in the construction and architecture sector the content and content of the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Combating Corruption”, “State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2030”, corruption-related offenses and liability for them, and provided participants with detailed information on ways to combat this phenomenon, measures to prevent corruption among employees in the sector, the consequences of engaging in corrupt practices, and the negative consequences and characteristics of this phenomenon in the sector.

In addition, during the meeting, the participants were explained the essence of the amendments and additions made to the national legislation on the illegal use of electricity and liability for committing these acts, and the responsibility of employees in the sector was emphasized to strictly refrain from committing violations in the areas of inappropriate use of electricity.
