As part of the Action Plan of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, aimed at enhancing the legal awareness of public servants and industry specialists, a discussion and meeting on countering corruption was held on June 11, 2025, in the conference hall of the executive authority of Ishkashim District, GBAO.

The event was attended by a representative of the Agency’s Department in GBAO, the Chairman of Ishkashim District, esteemed Imatshozoda Anvar Imatsho, his deputies, heads of law enforcement agencies, and leaders of organizations and institutions in Ishkashim District. The meeting was opened by the district chairman with an introductory speech, followed by a presentation from the Department representative on the topics under discussion.

In conclusion, participants shared their views within the framework of normative legal acts, particularly the Criminal and Administrative Codes of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Combating Corruption,” and the “State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030.” Issues related to the sector were discussed, and specific answers were provided to participants’ questions.
