In March of the current year, at the initiative of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, with the aim of enhancing anti-corruption culture in the Executive Body of State Power of the Murghab District and in military unit 0412 of the Border Troops Directorate of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan for the GBAO, meetings were held.

In the meetings that took place, representatives of the Agency delivered speeches on the main provisions of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Main Directions of the Internal and External Policy of the Republic” to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan. They emphasized that the Message of the Leader of the Nation outlines issues related to the effective advancement of internal and external policy, ensuring progress in the spheres of economy and industry, energy, roads and transport, security and defense, protection of law and order, healthcare, culture, science and education, social protection of the population, youth and women, and also provides instructions and directives for the development of the above-mentioned spheres.

In addition, during the meeting, those present were briefed on the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Countering Corruption”, “On the Regulation of Holidays and Ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan”, legislation in the sphere of countering terrorism and extremism, the effective use of budgetary funds, the prevention of violations of the law regarding the use of electrical energy and payment for its consumption, and other issues.
