In September 2025, at the initiative of the regional department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Zeravshan Valley, a working meeting was held in the meeting hall of the executive body of local state authority of the city of Penjikent. The event included the participation of the city mayor, the city prosecutor, members of the conscription commissions, employees of the city military commissariat, and other responsible persons. The meeting was conducted as part of the implementation of the Action Plan for propaganda and agitation to prevent corruption in the military conscription process.

At the organized meeting, Agency employees delivered presentations discussing the analysis of the Republic of Tajikistan’s legislation and state programs in the field of combating corruption, the situation regarding the identification and handling of corruption offenses, liability for such offenses, and measures to prevent corruption offenses during the military conscription process.

It is worth noting that the goal of the event is to enhance the legal anti-corruption awareness of members of the conscription commissions, as well as to prevent corruption risks and factors from their side during the autumn conscription of citizens into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Overall, the event took place in an anti-corruption atmosphere, and it can be confidently stated that its results will have a positive impact on fostering an intolerant attitude toward corruption within the military service system and increasing the legal awareness of the participants.
