On May 30 of this year, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, a regional webinar was organized and held under the Regional Platform for the Accelerated Implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption. The event, themed “Preventive Measures III: Preventive Measures for the Private Sector and State Enterprises. Training Programs,” saw broad participation from employees of relevant units of the Agency’s central office.

In addition to representatives of the Agency and the aforementioned UN Office, the webinar was attended by anti-corruption experts from the Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from scientific institutions, the private sector, and civil society of the mentioned countries. During the webinar, experts delivered insightful presentations on the discussed topics.

Overall, the event took place in a friendly, academic, and deliberative atmosphere. It is hoped that the knowledge gained will be applied in the professional activities of participants to reduce the prevalence of corruption in the country and the region.
