On September 12, 2025, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a fruitful meeting was held in the conference hall of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics. The event brought together the university’s leadership, heads of departments and divisions, and faculty members to discuss the topic “Combating Corruption in the Field of Education and Science: Challenges, Prospects, and Solutions.”

During the meeting, representatives of the Agency delivered presentations focusing on methods to counter corrupt practices in the educational and scientific spheres, preventive measures against corruption among industry workers, the consequences of engaging in corrupt activities, including bribery, as well as the negative aspects and repercussions of such phenomena. Participants were thoroughly briefed on the requirements of the Republic of Tajikistan’s legislation and the provisions of state anti-corruption programs.

Overall, the event took place in an anti-corruption atmosphere, and it can be confidently stated that its outcomes will have a positive impact on fostering an uncompromising stance against corruption in the education and science sectors, as well as enhancing the legal awareness of the participants.
