On August 18, 2025, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a productive meeting was held in the conference hall of the Executive Body of State Power of the City of Vahdat on the topic “Combating Corruption is a Collective Effort.” The event was attended by the leadership and employees of the Executive Body of State Power of Vahdat, heads and staff of state institutions, representatives of urban and rural jamoats, heads of educational institutions, chairpersons of mahalla committees, and representatives of other organizations and institutions in the city.

During the event, representatives of the Agency delivered presentations, discussing the enhancement of anti-corruption awareness among sector employees, the prevention of corruption practices and contributing factors, the role of civil society in combating corruption, and the comprehensive implementation of the Republic of Tajikistan’s legislation in the field of anti-corruption. Relevant clarifications were provided on the discussed issues.

Overall, the event was conducted in the spirit of anti-corruption commitment, and it can be confidently stated that its outcomes will have a positive impact on fostering an uncompromising attitude toward corruption in society and enhancing the legal awareness of participants.
