In August 2025, at the initiative of the regional branch of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Zerafshan Valley, a scientific-practical conference on the theme "The Role of Society in Strengthening Anti-Corruption Values" was organized and held in the meeting hall of the Olim Boboev Palace of Culture under the Executive Body of Local State Authority of the city of Penjikent. The event was attended by the mayor of the city, his deputies, and staff of the mayor’s office, heads of law enforcement agencies, relevant organizations and institutions, employees of the education and healthcare sectors, and representatives of urban and rural communities.

During the event, representatives of the Agency delivered speeches on issues related to combating corruption, state anti-corruption policy, enhancing citizens' legal awareness, the State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030, ensuring the implementation of legislation in the field of regulating celebrations and ceremonies, child education and upbringing, combating terrorism and extremism, preventing citizens' involvement in illegal parties and movements, and other pressing issues.

It should be noted that the purpose of holding such events is primarily to draw public attention to issues of combating corruption, increasing citizens' legal awareness, preventing any legal violations, and ensuring the implementation of laws and state anti-corruption programs.
