The preliminary investigation of the criminal case against Khamdamzoda A.Sh. revealed that, from May 15, 2023, to the present, while serving as the Deputy Chairman of Shahrinav District for Agricultural Affairs and as a deputy of the Shahrinav District Majlis of People's Deputies, Khamdamzoda A.Sh. committed the crime of bribery under the following circumstances.

Specifically, in April 2025, while reviewing an official request from citizen M.B.P. for the allocation of 118.85 hectares of pastureland in the rural jamoats of Istiqlol and Sabo in Shahrinav District, Khamdamzoda A.Sh., being a public official and aware of his position as the chairman of the district’s pasture use regulation commission, had the authority to facilitate the realization of this request. He demanded a bribe of 20,000 somoni from citizen M.B.P. to carry out the aforementioned actions.

To execute his criminal intent, Khamdamzoda A.Sh., during May 2025, in two separate instances, received a total of 20,000 somoni as a bribe from citizen M.B.P. He subsequently spent these funds on personal needs.

Based on these facts, a criminal case was initiated against Khamdamzoda A.Sh. under Article 319, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. Upon completion of the preliminary investigation, the criminal case was forwarded to the court for consideration.
