On 25 February of the current year, at the initiative of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the cities and districts of the Rasht region, a republican scientific-practical conference on the theme “Analysis of the Situation, Factors and Sources of Threats of Corruption, Extremism and Terrorism in the Light of the Address of the Leader of the Nation” was held in the hall of the Palace of Culture of the Rasht District.

The event was attended by heads and employees of a number of state institutions, law enforcement agencies, representatives of the intelligentsia, civil society activists and students.

Within the framework of the conference, the participants conducted a fruitful exchange of views on issues of countering terrorism, extremism, corruption, drug trafficking and other types of crime. The main provisions of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Main Directions of the Internal and External Policy of the Republic” to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 16 December 2025 were brought to the attention of the participants.

Overall, the event was held at a high organisational level and in a scientific-discussion atmosphere. It can be confidently stated that its results will have a positive impact on the formation in society of an atmosphere of intolerance towards all types of crime.
