On June 26, 2025, a festive gathering dedicated to “National Unity Day” was held in the meeting hall of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in Sughd Region, with the participation of a wide range of employees.

The event was opened by the Head of the Agency’s Office in Sughd Region, Major General of Justice S. Kh. Salimzoda, who noted that thanks to the efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord in Tajikistan was signed on June 27, 1997. This day marked the end of a highly turbulent period in the country’s history of independence and opened a new chapter in the modern history of Tajik state-building.

It was emphasized that the celebration of this date is a symbol of unity and solidarity for the people of the country, inspiring the devoted sons of the Motherland to further achievements in strengthening the gains of independence.

During the gathering, employees of the office delivered presentations on the event’s theme, highly praising the role of national unity in ensuring peace and stability in the country.

The event took place in an atmosphere of patriotism, and there is confidence that its outcomes will positively contribute to strengthening national self-awareness.
