From December 2 to 4, 2025, the official delegation of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the Deputy Director of the agency—Kamolzoda Firuz Anvarali participated in the Second Global Conference on Using Data to Strengthen Anti-Corruption Measures, held in New York City, United States of America.
The conference was organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme and the International Anti-Corruption Academy. Its goal is to bring together experts and representatives from governments, international organizations, scientific institutions, and civil society to exchange knowledge and best practices, as well as to improve mechanisms for detecting corruption.
The event is aimed at strengthening international relations and defining modern measures to combat corruption, with representatives from more than 100 countries of the world taking part.
During the event, the Deputy Director of the Agency—Kamolzoda F. A. delivered a report on the country's experience in this area and acquainted the participants with the results achieved by the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of anti-corruption efforts.
Overall, the event was held at a high international level, and it can be confidently stated that its outcomes will create a favorable foundation for strengthening international ties and improving the agency's activities.
