On July 31, 2025, at the initiative of the leadership of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, a scientific-practical conference on the theme “Countering Corruption – The Key to the Development of the Education Sector” was held in the assembly hall of General Education Institution No. 19 in the Sino District.

The main goal of the event was to enhance the legal awareness of the population, prevent corruption-related offenses, and ensure the implementation of laws and state anti-corruption programs.

The conference was opened by the leadership of the Main Department of Education of Dushanbe, which shared insights on the causes and conditions of corruption in the global community.

Other participants presented reports on the topics: “Explanation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Countering Corruption’” and “The Essence and Purpose of the State Strategy for Countering Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2030.”

It is worth noting that the organization and holding of such events create favorable conditions for preventing corruption-related offenses and, in general, contribute to the implementation of regulatory and legal acts in the field of anti-corruption, thereby helping to reduce the level and intensity of corruption.

In conclusion, participants exchanged views on the presented reports and discussed various aspects of the issues under consideration.
