On September 24, 2025, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan’s office in Sughd Oblast, a scientific-practical conference titled “The Role of Youth and Educational Institutions in Combating Corruption” was held in the assembly hall of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, with the participation of faculty members and students.

The event was opened by the University Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Saidzoda M.M., who noted that since ancient times, thinkers and prominent figures have condemned corruption as one of the most dangerous social and political phenomena.

Agency representatives then delivered presentations outlining ways to counter manifestations of corruption in the fields of education and science, anti-corruption measures among industry workers, the consequences of engaging in corrupt activities such as bribery, as well as the negative repercussions and harm of this phenomenon. Participants were provided with detailed explanations of the requirements of the legislation and state anti-corruption programs.

Overall, the event took place in an atmosphere of anti-corruption resolve, and it can be confidently stated that its outcomes will have a positive impact on fostering an uncompromising societal attitude toward corruption and enhancing the level of legal knowledge and culture.
