On August 13, 2025, at the initiative of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the cities and districts of the Gissar Valley, in collaboration with the Executive Bodies of State Authority of the cities of Tursunzade and Gissar, as well as the Shahrinav District, a scientific-practical conference was organized and held on the topic: "Combating Corruption – the Key to the Development of the Healthcare and Social Protection Sectors."

The event was attended by the leadership of the Agency’s Department in the cities and districts of the Gissar Valley, representatives of the Executive Bodies of State Authority of the cities of Gissar and Tursunzade, as well as the Shahrinav District, and heads and representatives of healthcare institutions from the cities and districts of the Gissar Valley. They delivered speeches on various legal issues.

During the conference, participants presented substantive reports on the following topics: "Combating Corruption – the Key to the Development of the Healthcare and Social Protection Sectors," "Prevention of Corrupt Practices in Medical Institutions – a Factor in Sector Development," "Combating Corruption – a Collective Effort," "Prevention of Corrupt Factors – the Foundation of a Healthy Society," and "Corruption – an Undesirable Phenomenon in Society." The discussions were followed by an exchange of views among the attendees.

Overall, the event was conducted in an anti-corruption spirit, and it can be confidently stated that its outcomes will have a positive impact on fostering an uncompromising stance against corruption and enhancing the legal awareness of the participants.
