On May 22, 2026, at the initiative of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the central ffice of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan. The leadership and a wide range of employees of the agency attended the event.

During the meeting, representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan explained the essence and content of the Strategy for preventing extremism and terrorism in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040 and the Action Plan for its implementation for 2026–2030. They also presented information on the threat of the spread of these phenomena to society and put forward proposals for expanding activities in the field of countering extremism and terrorism.

It was noted that extremism and terrorism have become a scourge of our time, and the Republic of Tajikistan, together with the international community, is taking decisive measures against these undesirable phenomena. It was emphasized that all law enforcement officers, as well as every patriotic and enlightened citizen, must be aware of the devastating consequences of these phenomena and collectively resist these threats.
