On 8 December 2025, on the initiative of the leadership of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a republican scientific-practical conference entitled “National Achievements in Implementing the Anti-Corruption Policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan” was held in the assembly hall of the Executive Body of State Authority of Faizabad District (Rasht region). The event was timed to coincide with the International Anti-Corruption Day and brought together representatives of law enforcement agencies and members of the public.

During the conference, it was emphasized that, throughout the period of state independence and thanks to the constructive initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the Republic of Tajikistan has taken firm steps in combating corruption and has established all the necessary organizational and legal frameworks for its prevention.

Participants also shared their views on issues related to manifestations of corruption and its harmful consequences, the role of civil society in combating this phenomenon, national legislation in the field of anti-corruption, and other topical matters.

It is worth noting that on 9 December 2003 the United Nations Convention against Corruption was adopted, and this date has been recognized by the international community as the International Anti-Corruption Day.
