On November 22, 2024, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the “Day of the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan” was held in the assembly hall of the central apparatus of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the agency’s leadership and staff.

The event began with the performance of the national anthem and the ceremonial carrying of the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan into the hall. The Director of the Agency, Lieutenant General of Justice Sultonzoda S.S., then delivered congratulatory remarks and extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire personnel on this historic day for the Tajik people.

He emphasized that it is a matter of special pride and honor that today, in an atmosphere of peace, stability, and nationwide unity, the people of our country are celebrating yet another significant milestone in our statehood — the “Day of the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan” — with joy and a deep sense of flag-bearing pride.

The State Flag is not merely an official symbol; it embodies our glorious past, steadfast present, and bright future of a proud nation, and we are duty-bound to treat it with the utmost reverence and respect.

In this sacred banner reside the Motherland of every one of us, the very essence of our nation, and the symbols of freedom, independence, and sovereignty of the state. Like a mirror of history, it reflects our national identity and the aspirations of the people.

The event continued with substantive speeches by the First Deputy Director of the Agency, Major General of Justice Rasuli B., and other staff members on the significance and status of the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan as well as the ancient history of flag-bearing among the Tajik people.

It should also be noted that, in honor of this majestic holiday, similar solemn gatherings were held in all regional and local directorates and departments of the Agency.
