On August 13, 2025, an extraordinary meeting of the Coordination Council of Tax (Financial) Investigation Bodies (CCTIB) of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan. The official delegation of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the Agency’s Director, Sultonzoda Sulaymon Said, participated in the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of law enforcement bodies from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, and the Executive Committee of the CIS. Participants exchanged views on pressing regional issues and common approaches to international cooperation within the framework of the Council, highly appreciating the CCTIB’s activities in strengthening peace, stability, and economic security in the region’s countries.
It was noted that the Council’s activities are continuously evolving, enabling the prevention of transnational economic crimes, including corruption, and the timely implementation of necessary measures to address them.
Additionally, during the meeting, representatives of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented information systems aimed at combating economic and financial violations to the participants.
