On 4–5 December 2025, in Vienna (Republic of Austria), with the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the resumed 68th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the 37th session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice were held. The official delegation of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan participated in both sessions.

The objectives of these events were aimed at addressing practical aspects of the work of the above-mentioned commissions, including the review and approval of budget allocations, administrative procedures, and programmatic priorities for UN initiatives on drug control and crime prevention, ensuring efficient resource management, and alignment with the broader goals of the United Nations.

Overall, the events were conducted at a high international level, and their outcomes will have a positive impact on the study and adoption of best practices in this area, the strengthening of joint measures to combat the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs at the regional level, and the further development of cooperation in these areas.
